Fully Funded International Scholarships For Chad Students

At the confluence of North and Central Africa, the landlocked nation of Chad (officially the Republic of Chad) is situated. It shares borders with Libya to the north, Sudan to the east, Central African Republic to the south, Cameroon to the southwest, Nigeria to the southwest (at Lake Chad), and Niger to the west. There are 16 million people living in Chad, with 1.6 million of them residing in N’Djamena, the nation’s capital and largest city.

Chad is divided into numerous sections, including a desert region in the north, a dry Sahelian belt in the center, and a more fertile Sudanian Savanna region in the south. The second-largest wetland in Africa is Lake Chad, after which the nation is called. Arabic and French are the two official languages of Chad. More than 200 different language and ethnic groups call it home. The two major religions practiced in Chad are Islam (55,1%) and Christianity (41,1%).

With a 2019 Human Development Index score of 0.398, Chad is the third least developed nation in the world and one of the poorest and most corrupt nations overall.

Idriss Déby, the longtime president of Chad, passed away on April 20, 2021, which led to the dissolution of the country’s National Assembly and government and the installation of a transitional military council headed by his son Mahamat Kaka.

The current constitution is on hold while one is drafted by the yet-to-be-established National Transitional Council of civilians. Elections will take place following an 18-month transitional period, according to the military council.

Globally, a lot of universities and organizations offer scholarships and grants to Chadian students, some of which even cover the full cost of tuition. Applications for these scholarships in Chad are accepted from students with any degree of study, from bachelor’s to PhD. As they pursue their degrees, students who get financial aid can escape financial stress.
