EDYeni Kuti, eldest child of Afrobeat Maestro, Fela Anikulapo-Kuti is 60 today, May 24.
She was a famous dancer in her younger days and played an active role in her famous father’s Egypt 80 band.
She was once married to late Femi Segun, a polyglot and public relations expert who was the son of renowned novelist Mabel Segun. The marriage hit the rocks a few years ago and produced Rolari who is now married to her Australian beau.
In her later years, she became an activist and is a member of TVC’s popular program ‘Your View’ where she airs her views on burning issues.
She is currently in a relationship with Theo Lawson who never fails to profess his love for her on social media. He once gave her a commitment ring which left her fans wondering whether she will walk the aisle a second time.
