EDThe general overseer of the Citadel Global Community Church, Pastor Tunde Bakare, has said anyone who decides to contest in the 2023 election, is putting his head inside hot water.
Tunde Bakare stated this during an interview with Channels Television on Tuesday night.
He said: “Anyone plunging into the election in 2023 is just plunging his head inside hot water, and therefore you must go with a team and not go alone.
“Very shortly, you will see the formidable team we’re presenting to the nation like a shadow cabinet, these are the men that would do it.
“We are meeting right now. They don’t even understand what is about to hit the nation. It is going to hit it big time in a positive manner.”
It will be recalled that the fiery cleric was the running mate to President Muhammadu Buhari in 2011. He played a key role in the petroleum subsidy removal protests of 2012 which greatly shook the then Goodluck Jonathan administration. He has been a critic of the Buhari led administration and once said that God told him that he will succeed Buhari in 2023.
The former University of Lagos trained lawyer turned clergyman has been a critic of bad governance since the 1990’s and has lent his voice to worthy, public spirited causes.
