Ondo Election: Court strikes out Jegede’s suit against Akeredolu

The Ondo State Election Petitions Tribunal has struck out the suit brought before it by Eyitayo Jegede SAN against Governor Rotimi Akeredolu where he sought to have the election of the latter nullified.

INEC had earlier declared Akeredolu winner of the October 20, 2020 poll. The verdict was given by Justice Umar Abubakar via Zoom and Jegede’s petition was struck out for lack of merit.
