The Department of State Services (DSS) has denied arresting some journalists with Channels TV as widely reported by some newspapers.

According to a statement released by its spokesperson, Peter Afunanya, the news of their arrest is false and misleading.

“The attention of the DSS has been drawn to news making the rounds in some sections of the media that its operatives arrested two (2) journalists of Channels Television. This is false and misleading. Fake news peddlers should shun the act,” the statement read
