Breaking: Gunmen burn down country home of Hope Uzodinma, murder security aides

Some unknown gunmen in the early hours of Saturday, April 24 invaded the country home of the Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodinma.

The country home located in Omuma in Oru East Local Government Area was burnt down and two security aides attached to it were murdered.

The State Commissioner for Information, Declan Emelumba confirmed the arson and murders when he said: “It is true, but the information is not still clear. It is not true that several security men lost their lives. About two security men on duty at the governor’s house were killed. One NSCDC personnel was among the security men who lost their lives during the attack.”
