EDJennifer Gates, the eldest child of recently estranged couple – Bill and Melinda Gates has bared her mind on her parents’ shocking divorce.
Taking to her Instagram story, she described their decision to divorce as shocking and a challenging time for her. She pleaded for privacy for her and her family to process the remaining time and move on to the next phase of their lives.
She said: “Hi friends by now many of you have heard the news that my parents are sepersting”
“It’s been a challenging stretch of time for the whole family”
“I’m still learning how to best support my own process and emotions as well as my family members at this time and am grateful for the space to do so,” Jennifer wrote.
“I won’t personally comment further on anything around the separation”.
Bill Gates is the current fourth richest man in the world with a net worth of about $130 billion.
