It has about one hundred million streams. In December last year it had about sixty-four million streams.
Spotify, a Swedish audio streaming platform was founded by Daniel Ek and is in seventeen countries around the world. One of his songs ‘Kilometre’ was sung during an NBA game in Texas, USA. Basketball team, Washington Wizards was playing against Dallas Mavericks at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas, USA when Burna’s song came on before the start of the game.
Burna Boy born Damini Ogulu took the Nigerian music scene by storm with award winning albums. He has a penchant for controversy and violence as he was set to have beaten up a man in a club some years ago.
His mother, Bose Ogulu is his manager and his grandfather Benson Idonijie is a renowned music critic who at a point was a manager to Afrobeat Legend, Fela Anikulapo-Kuti.
