EDAccording to Daily Post, unknown gunmen have attacked and murdered three Policemen at a checkpoint in Obeti Community in Ukwuani Local Government Area of Delta State.
The gunmen also burnt the patrol van of the Policemen who are from Umutu Police Station.
It is not clear if the gunmen carted away the rifles of the deceased Policemen during the incident.
The Delta State Acting Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Bright Edafe in a telephone chat with a Daily Post Correspondent confirmed the report.
He said, “Confirmed” but did not also state if the gunmen carted away the rifles of the Policemen.
