EDSenator Dino Melaye has said that Nigerians who survive the President Muhammadu Buhari led administration should be given a certificate of survival and be heartily congratulated.
He highlighted that every Nigerian deserves the certificate because they have survived banditry, kidnapping, hunger and killings.
He said this at a function recently.
”I want to propose that at the expiration of Muhammadu Buhari as the President of Nigeria, due to hunger, kidnapping, bandits and killings, any Nigerian that survives, I move a motion that that Nigerian should be given a certificate of survival.”
Dino Melaye was elected into the House of Representatives and later Senate before a court judgement threw him out in favour of his arch rival, Smart Adeyemi.
He was a former supporter of Buhari and defected to the APC in 2015 before going back to the PDP. He has seen been a critic of the President. He is also known for his flamboyant display of his wealth as critics have questioned its source as he is not known to have any thriving business endeavour.
He was once romantically linked to a popular Yoruba actress – the relationship which he roundly denied. He has kept people guessing as to when he would walk down the aisle a second time since his messy divorce from his first wife and the mother of his children.
