7 Major Takeaways From Yemi Osinbajo's Presidential Declaration

Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo has officially joined the 2023 presidential contest, THE VENT REPUBLIC can authoritatively confirm.

After months of intense speculations, Osinbajo in a short broadcast on his official Twitter handle made the declaration.

The Nigeria’s Vice-President who has been perceived to be foot-dragging on his ambition as many felt he won’t want to be on a collision course with his alleged godfather, Bola Tinubu, has decided to dare all odds and throw his hat into the ring.

The former Lagos State Attorney General promised to build on the successes of the Muhammadu Buhari led government to put smiles on the faces of the people.

1: He noted starting from the 4th paragraph his functions and roles as Nigeria’s  Vice President for seven years and the experience garnered in the course of performing his duties, which he said is a motivation.
