Veteran singer, Innocent Idibia, more known as 2Baba, has in a rare philanthropic move donated a music studio to the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ife.
THE VENT REPUBLIC reports that the award-winning singer, who was present at the inauguration of the studio, which took place on Tuesday, donated the recording studio to the Vice Chancellor of the University.
The official Instagram page of 2Baba’ music record label, Hypertek Digital, shared the digital imprints of the ceremony (photos and videos), with the Vice-Chancellor of the institution, Professor Eyitope Ogunbodede, in his welcome address, appreciating the ‘African Queen’ corner.
The elated VC revealed that OAU now has the best recording studio in any Nigerian university, thanks to 2Baba.
