If We Make It To 2023, I Hope We Catch Some Sense — Kingsley Moghalu

Former Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Professor Kingsley Moghalu has bemoaned the rising spate of insecurity in the country, THE VENT REPUBLIC reports.

The President of the Institute for Governance and Economic Transformation (IGET), and the Young Progressives Party (YPP) Presidential Candidate in the 2019 general polls made this known on social media platform, Twitter.

According to Moghalu, Nigerians should watch out for leaders who do not bear the title only by coinage as it is obtainable today.

He wrote:

“Nigeria has become a killing field. Insecurity everywhere, terrorists on the ascendant. If we make it to 2023, I hope we will catch some sense and look for leaders for whom “leader” is not just a nickname as it is today.”

THE VENT REPUBLIC reports that Moghalu is currently on advocacy for electoral reform through the non-partisan citizens’ movement ‘To Build a Nation’ (TBAN).
