“Good name is better than ill gotten wealth”— Man writes after returning N2.5m mistakenly paid into his account

Julius Eze is a Facebook user, and is currently trending on the platform after he revealed that he returned 2.5 million naira that was mistakenly paid into his bank account.

Eze who describes himself as an entrepreneur explained that on Friday Evening, July 9th and Saturday, July 10th he got credit alerts totaling 2.5m.

He explained that he was later able to trace the owner and transferred the money back.

He shared screenshots of his bank transactions and explained that he couldn’t keep the money because a good name is better than ill-gotten wealth.
