EDThere was a fire outbreak at the Obollo-Afor Office of the Independence National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Udenu L.G.A. of Enugu state on Thursday night, May 13.
According to an official statement released by the spokesperson of the state police command, ASP Daniel Ndukwe, operatives attached to the Udenu police division received a distress call at about 9pm saying there was a fire outbreak at the INEC office. He said the officers immediately raced to the scene, while contacting Fire Service Office in the area to promptly put out the fire.
