The Israel Defense Forces has confirmed that two senior intelligence officials linked to Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya emergency command were killed in a targeted Israeli Air Force strike in Tehran.
The officials were identified as Abdallah Jalali-Nasab and Amir Shariat.
According to the military, the operation was carried out with precise intelligence provided by Israeli Military Intelligence.
The IDF said both men had recently assumed acting roles within the intelligence division following the death of their predecessor, Saleh Asadi, who was killed during the early phase of Operation Roaring Lion.
They were regarded as key figures within Iran’s intelligence structure, with strong connections to senior leadership.
The Khatam al-Anbiya emergency command is tasked with gathering and analysing intelligence for top officials within Iran’s security establishment, helping shape military strategies, particularly in relation to Israel.
Reports indicate that Asadi had played a central role in developing Iran’s strategic posture toward both Israel and the United States, including involvement in long-term military planning.
The latest strike forms part of a wider Israeli military campaign targeting Iranian assets.
According to IDF spokesperson Effie Defrin, hundreds of Israeli Air Force aircraft have carried out extensive عملیات against multiple targets across Iran since the campaign began.
He added that the offensive was launched with a surprise strike after intelligence identified locations in Tehran where senior Iranian security officials had gathered.
The continued targeting of high-ranking figures suggests sustained pressure on Iran’s command network, coming shortly after Israel reported completing multiple waves of strikes against numerous strategic sites.
