Big Brother Naija ‘Shine Ya Eye’ housemate, Tega Dominic, has in a shocking revelation said her marriage ended before she appeared on the reality show, as against what viewers were made to believe: that she was married during the duration of the show.

THE VENT REPUBLIC reports that Tega became controversial after she was filmed during the show allegedly having amorous intimacy with fellow housemate, Boma, drawing the ire of many viewers who found the act despicable bearing in mind her married status.

After she left the show, she apologized, inferring she will be taking responsibility for her actions but denied actually having sexual intercourse with Boma, positing that they were both ‘acting out a script’, though admitted she went too far in other intimate acts with him.

But in a shocking revelation, Tega said she was actually not married during the show as she already divorced her husband, Ajeboh in 2020 before she went on the show.

The Cross-River State-born TV Star made this known on Instagram while she fielded questions from her fans after an inquisitive fan asked her to stop shrouding her marital status.

“Lol, I am not. Ended since; all you know was a move that went wrong. Actually ended in 2020. Now you all can get off my backs.”
