Olamide sets date for the release of his new album

Popular Nigerian artiste and Boss of YBNL, Olamide a.k.a Badoo has announced the date for the release of his latest album.

He took to his Instagram handle to make the announcement and it comes about eight months after the release of his hit album ‘Carpa Diem.’

Letting the cat out of the bag, he wrote:

“UY Scuti! The Album… June 14th #UyScuti.”

He expressed delight and surprise in his large fan base outside the country despite not doing enough to promote his songs globally.

In a TV interview, he was quoted to have said: “If you pay attention properly, you will see that I’m not the type that, I don’t even try to struggle or try extra hard to push my music outside Nigeria or anything. “I didn’t even try to do Pan-African collabos or what not in order to get numbers from other countries so it is very surprising to me when I see my music doing so well outside Nigeria.”
