Iyabo Ojo and Nkechi Blessing didn’t overreact – Popular Movie Producer

Nollywood Actress and Movie Producer, Mary Njoku has thrown her weight behind the duo of Iyabo Ojo and Nkechi Blessing who were recently suspended by TAMPAN.

TAMPAN executives suspended Iyabo Ojo and Nkechi Blessing for overreacting and stepping on the toes of some people during the whole rape saga and has even threatened to deal with any director or producer who works with them now that they are suspended.

Mary Njoku, wife of Jason Njoku, CEO of Iroko TV thanked the duo for using their platform to advance the interests of the voiceless who are victims of child molestation and assault. She said they are her crush as they didn’t mind putting their jobs on the line to speak up for what was right.

Mary Njoku then added that Nigerians today don’t react enough to issues and situations that are going on in the country and that is why most things that can be eradicated in the country and some sectors are regarded as normal because people have refused to talk about it.

Child rape or molestation isn’t something that one should keep quiet about but then TAMPAN has indirectly made it known that there’s a limit one has to go when it comes to child molestation or rape by suspending Nkechi Blessing and Iyabo Ojo for overreacting during the Baba Ijesha rape saga.

Mary Njoku urged them to remain sturdy in their resolution for the foster daughter of Princess to get justice and ensure that no girl suffers what she allegedly suffered as it is an issue which requires huge attention.
