EDThere was a clash between Hausa motorcyclists and some Yoruba youths today in the Iyana-Iba, Ojo area of Lagos state. Both tribes wielded dangerous weapons which they freely used on one another.
According to a reliable source, some Hausa motorcyclists gathered in unison to protest the frequent harassment by the members of the National Union of Road Transport Workers which led to the death of one of their members who was allegedly beaten and stabbed to death.
It then degenerated into a full blown fight with gun shots renting the air.
