EDThere is heightened tension in some parts of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) over a plot by the Boko Haram Insurgents to attack some parts of it.
There is palpable fear in the National Assembly as there was a notification to it by the dreaded terrorist group on the plan to attack it soon.
Some other public buildings in the FCT also received a written notification for them to be attacked so the residents there now live in deep fear and have sleepless nights.
There is now rigorous stop and search at the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC). Veritas University located in Bwari and owned by the Catholic Church has sent its students home.
A drive around Abuja shows that security has been greatly beefed up in many government ministries, departments and agencies.
