EDThe Arewa Youth Consultative Forum, AYCF, has said it would only support the Presidential bid of Chief Bola Tinubu if only the former Lagos Governor fulfillss some conditions.
The AYCF National President, Yerima Shettima said the North would look at his relationship with Nigerians from other parts of the country before it would support his ambition.
Shettima, who made this known in a chat with news medium, DAILY POST averred that the APC National Leader’s ability to maintain good rapport with other regions of the country would be the major factor for the support of the North.
In his words:
“If Tinubu decides to contest, there is a way we will answer him. If he decides to contest, we will certainly look at his relationship with other Nigerians outside the Southwest, how fair has he been we other Nigerians outside the Southwest.
“How far has he been able to maintain good relationship outside the Southwest, What has he been able to do to give back to other Nigerians outside his region. We will discuss it, time will tell.”
THE VENT REPUBLIC reports that though the APC strongman has’nt declared his intention to vie for the number one office of the land, his body language may well point to the affirmative.
