Ex Governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi has raised an alarm that Nigeria is fast sliding into the becoming a failed state and appealed to Nigerians irrespective of political party affiliation to collaborate to effectively tackle unemployment, insecurity and poverty.

Nigeria’s current challenges should be of grave concern to all.

He tweeted on his personal handle: “All Nigerians, irrespective of party and other affiliations, should immediately join hands to tackle the spectre of insecurity, poverty, and unemployment that are now ruling and ruining our dear country. We are fast becoming a failed state.

“We cannot allow the downward spiral to continue. The government should also urgently seek foreign help.”
